The Little Minister

The story is set in Scotland and is about Gavin Dishart, a staid cleric newly assigned to the church, and Babbie, a noble, who disguises herself as a gipsy girl in order to interact with the local villagers and protect them from her guardian, Lord Rintoul. A romantic liaison starts to Dishart’s heroism stuns and transforms the heart of the townspeople.
